Norma Jane Davis – Oolitic
Norma Jane Davis, 80, of Oolitic, passed away at 2:58 am on Monday, November 24, 2014 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born December 23, 1933 at Buff Ridge in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Levi A. and Dora A. (Quillen) Davis. She married Murl Flinn and he preceded her in death. She was a graduate of the Oolitic High School with the class of 1953. She retired from RCA and Thomson Consumer Electronics. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and attended the New Life Trinity Holiness Tabernacle.
Survivors include a sister, Barbara A. Chamness of Martinsville; Kathy Cullison who was like a sister, many much loved nieces and nephews and many other friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Merle A., William A., Robert L. and Emmett H. Davis; three sisters, Rita May Davis (in infancy), Mildred L. Ryan and Marjorie J. Parker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Mark Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 28th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Karla Kristin Priest – Bedford
Karla Kristin (May) Priest, of Bedford, passed away at 5:06 p.m., Friday November 21, 2014, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born July 8, 1973, in Bedford, Indiana, she was the daughter of Royce and Linda (Rainey) May.
She married Christopher R. Priest, on April 23, 2010; and he survives.
She was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School, Class of 1992. She worked at JC’s Playhouse for many years. She attended First Baptist Church, Bedford. She had a huge heart, and dearly loved her children and life.
Surviving are her husband, Christopher Priest, of Bedford; parents, Royce and Linda (Rainey) May, of Bedford; three daughters, Halie (Crane) Christiansen, of Bedford, Ariana Banks, of Bedford, and Addalyn Priest, of Bedford; one son, Paxton Priest, of Bedford; one grandson, Landon Christiansen, of Bedford; two stepsons, Zaric and Zayne Priest, of Ellettsville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by Dale and Delores (Maze) Rainey; and Evelyn and Harry May Sr.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 2 p.m.. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Friends may call on Friday, 4 .m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be considered to Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
