Donna J. Lewis – Bedford
Donna J. (Henderson) Lewis, 87, of Bedford, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at her residence.
Born January 1, 1928, she was the daughter of Merle and Pearl (Ogborn) Henderson. She married Phillip Max Lewis in Lafayette, IN, on October 11, 1947. She retired from Visteon.
Surviving are one daughter, Sharon L. (Patrick) Robbins, Bedford; three sons, William M. (Beth Ann) Lewis, Oolitic, Robert M. (Lola) Lewis, Bedford, and Donald K. (Sheri) Lewis, Bedford; seven grandchildren, Kristy Woodward, Holly Woodward, Josh Robbins, Carol Taylor, Scott Lewis, Heather Sowders, and Joe Lewis; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 3 p.m.. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Phil Flinn officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Scotty Joe Sykes – Bedford
Scotty Joe Sykes, 55, of Bedford, died Friday, March 27, 2015 at 5:30 a.m. at his residence.
Born May 2, 1959, in Bedford, he was the son of Charles and Bonnie (Smith) Sykes. He married Kimberly Baker on June 29, 1979 and she survives. He was a skilled concrete finisher with S&S Construction and was employed by the city of Bedford for fifteen years. He attended Leatherwood Christian Church. He loved to fish, hunt, garden, but most importantly loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Sykes of Bedford; one daughter, Krista Blevins and husband Kyle of Bedford; two grandchildren, Kamden and Karsyn Blevins; his mother, Bonnie Sykes of Bedford; two brothers, Jeff Sykes of Bedford and Brad Sykes and wife Katrina of Bedford; his mother-in-law, Treva Baker of Bedford; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Sykes; and his father-in-law, Neil Baker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 31st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 30th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday. The family asks that memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
