Freida K. Pruett – Mitchell
Freida Kay Pruett, 76, of Mitchell, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin.
Born November 20, 1938, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Heber Leon and Mary Ellen (Reynolds) Tolbert. She married Gordon Pruett December 31, 1961, and he preceded her in death September 3, 1969. Freida was a homemaker and a member of the Mitchell Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include brother, Bernard Earl Tolbert, Franklin; nephews, Bradley Earl Tolbert, Franklin, Michael Eldon (Noreen) Tolbert, Orleans; great niece, Jennifer Renay Tolbert, Orleans; great nephew, Russ Doan, Orleans
Her parents; husband; and brother, John Gerald Tolbert, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at Haverly Funeral Chapel with Reverend Matt Moore officiating. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the funeral home. A family graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Mitchell Cemetery.
