Margaretta Garland – Bedford

Margaretta Garland, 88, of Bedford, died at 5:15 am on Monday, July 13, 2015 at her residence.
Born February 5, 1927, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Richard and Viola (Easton) Inman. She married Wilford Garland and he preceded her in death. She had worked at Sarkes-Tarzian in Bloomington and later in the circulation department for the Times-Mail. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include a son, David Garland and wife, Amy, of Bedford; a brother, Jack Inman of Michigan; three grandchildren, Landon Garland, Lindsay Staggs and husband, Aaron, and Elizabeth Garland; four great grandchildren, Christian Walther, Madison, Alexandra and Elliot Staggs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, John, Roger and Jim Inman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Thursday, July 16th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, July 15th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Juliaetta Collins – Orleans

Juliaetta Collins, 70, of Orleans, passed away at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015, at her residence.
Born July 28, 1944, in Pekin, she was the daughter of William Dexter and Ida Elizabeth (Lewis) Milligan. She was formerly married to Robert H. Collins. Juliaetta was a member of the Orleans Church of the Nazarene and had been employed at Smith Cabinets in Salem.
Survivors include her brother, Elza William Milligan, Mitchell; sister, Pauline Brim, Mitchell; several nieces and nephews
Her parents and siblings, Rosemary Marie Knight, Blanche Esther Milligan, Mary Ada
Fender, Della McCord, and Martha Elizabeth Milligan, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 a. m. Tuesday, July 14, at Haverly Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. Monday and from 10:30 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
