Buford David Alcorn – Bedford
Buford David Alcorn, 79, of Bedford, died at 1:15 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2015, at I.U. Health Hospice House, Bloomington.
Born September 10, 1935, in Scott Co., KY, he was the son of Virgil and Dora (Johnson) Alcorn. He married Jeanette Neal, who preceded him in death on September 18, 1996. Buford was retired from the Shane Coal Mine, Wheatland, IN.
Surviving are two sons, Dennis (Amy) Alcorn and Kennith (Rose) Alcorn; grandchildren Cory, Jessica, Kyle, Angela, Shannon, Justin and Cody; great grandchildren Brittany, Kathryn, Olivia, Charles, Evan, Berkleigh, Carter, and Brady; brothers, Darrell Alcorn and Steve McQueen; sisters, Helen Gay and Arnold Mae Sells; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeanette; daughter, Rita Fields; and sisters Edith Hammond and Vickie Alcorn.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2015, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with pastor Kenny Dalton officiating. Burial will be in Leatherwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Graden Lee McFarlan,15, of Bedford died Saturday, August 8, 2015.
Born June 12, 2000, in Bedford, he was the son of Daniel Lux and Jamie Durbin.
Graden was to start his freshman year at Bedford North Lawrence, High School. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and was gifted at drawing.
Surviving are his mother, Jamie Durbin, Bedford; his daughter, Aubree Skye Davis, Bedford; his maternal grandmother, Wanda White, Pompano, FL; his paternal grandmother, Sandy McFarlan, Bedford; his legal guardian, Leslie Holland, Bedford; four sisters, Kayla (fiance’ Jacob Terrell) Dillon, Bethany Ireland, Sadie King and Makarrah McFarlan, all of Bedford; one brother, Logan Causey, Bedford; one niece, Kinlee Terrell; his aunt, Jessica Durbin and cousin, Isaiah, both of Sellersburg.
Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Pastor Kregg Burris officiating. Private burial will be in Dive Cemetery, Bedford. Friends may call on Wednesday from 3 p.m. till 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
