Robert “Bobby” Eugene Lewis – Bloomington

Robert “Bobby” Eugene Lewis, 79, of Bloomington, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at IU Health Hospice House, Bloomington.
Born September 8, 1935, in Bedford, he was the son of Paul W. and Inez C. (Fisher) Lewis. He married Patricia W. Lewis on April 3, 1988; and she survives. He attended Bedford High School. He was a retired meat cutter and a musician for many years. Robert was a member of Davis Memorial Church of the Nazarene. He was a self-taught pianist playing with several Country & Western, and Gospel bands.
Survivors include his his wife, Patti Lewis, of Bloomington; four daughters, Penny, Kelly, Bobbi (Joe), and Lisa; three sons, Stephen (Debbie), Patrick (Deena), and Jason (Rita); eighteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sondra (James) Sons, and Carol Scherschel; two nieces; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two grandsons.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Pastor Ken Bushey officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from Noon till 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
