Susan L. (Blakey) Pruett, 51, of Heltonville, died on Monday, November 30, 2015 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford, following a yearlong battle with cancer.
Born October 10, 1964 in Bedford, Indiana, she was the daughter of Don and Amy (Lynn) Blakey. Susan was previously married to Jeffrey Pruett. The father of her boys. She was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School. Susan was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Christian Church where she taught Sunday School.
Surviving are her parents, Don and Amy Blakey of Bedford; two sons, Tracey (T.J.) Pruett and Tanner (fiancée April) Pruett both of Heltonville; granddaughter, Braelynn; Brother Donald (Becky) Blakey of Bedford; several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Thelma Lynn, Carlos and Mary Blakey; sister Tracy Jo and a nephew, Evan Blakey.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Ron Plumer and Kenny Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday, 4 p.m. till 7 p.m. and 9 a.m. till 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
