Perry L. Thompson, Jr. – Bedford

Perry L. Thompson, Jr., 51, of Bedford, died at 8:40 pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born March 16, 1964 in Bedford, he was the son of Perry L. and Roberta (Henderson) Thompson. He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School with the class of 1983. He was an ASE certified welder and had worked at Cessna Welding Co. in Mitchell. He had worked for Salt Creek Flea Market and Auction Service and had been a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include a half-sister, Brenda K. Ikerd, of Bloomington; a cousin, Glenda Cobb and husband, Jack, of Springville; his best friends, Brian Keith Otwell, of Bedford, Carolyn Hatfield, of Bloomfield and Jack Cobb, II, of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 2nd at Patton Hill Cemetery with John Lee officiating. Burial will follow.
