Gregory Scott Berry 62, Bedford passed away, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 5:30 a.m.
Born March 13, 1953, in Lawrence County he was the son of Robert E. and Edna Mae (Wykoff) Berry.
He worked early in life as a produce manager and also at Sears in Bedford. He was a self-employed painter and an Avon salesman. Later in his life he was a loving and devoted caregiver.
He was a graduate of Shawswick High School and a member of Leatherwood Christian Church.
His hobbies were cooking and taking pictures. He loved music and being with his family.
Gregory bravely fought a battle with lung cancer. He was able to fulfill his “bucket list” with the help from family, friends, and cousins: Terri and Linda by going to Graceland and Opryland, in Tennessee.
Survivors include a sister, Joan Fuller (Paul) Mitchell of Bedford; nephew, Tyrus S. (Deedra) Mathews; niece, Tracy Mathews Tincher; great-nephews, Jarrid W. (Elizabeth) Mathews, Justin D. Mathews, Evan W. (Maurica) Folk, Levi M. Stidam and Braxton W. Folk; great-niece; Maebree M. Tincher all of Bedford; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles that were more like brothers and sisters to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents Dudley E. and Avis (Taylor) Wykoff; his beloved great-grandmother, Fern Taylor, and paternal grandparents, Clara (Lerch) and Nyman Wykoff.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home; funeral service will be 1 p.m.. on Sunday, January 24, 2016. Brother Travis Bailey officiating with a reading from Cary Wykoff. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery, Bedford.
Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers: Mickey Keith, Robert Wykoff Jr., Tyrus Mathews, Levi Stidam, Michael Bailey, Roger Wykoff, Cary Wykoff, Dudley Wykoff Jr, Michael Wykoff, Jarrid Mathews, Justin Mathews, and Evan Folk.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Lawrence County Patient Services, Phi Beta Psi Sorority, Bedford or Mitchell.

Kenneth “Kenny” D. Richardson – Bedford
March 10, 1945 – January 19, 2016
Kenneth “Kenny” D. Richardson, 70, of Bedford, passed away at 6:55 P.M. on Tuesday, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born March 10, 1945, in Bedford, Indiana, he was the son of Kenneth L. Richardson and Dodie (Jones) Kimbrel.
He attended Bethel Country Church. He worked at Elliott Stone Company and Roberts Brass, in Mitchell.
Kenneth was a member of the Senior Citizens of Mitchell.
Surviving are three sisters, Ramona K. Sowders, Barbara (Cecil) York, and Rebecca (Kevin) McCluskey; one brother, Terry L. (Pamela) Kimbrel; step-daughter, Tammy Slinkard; step-son, Terry Slinkard; several step-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers in infancy.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Jeff Tillett officiating. Burial will be in Dive Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday, 10 a.m. until the service hour at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

John O. Alexander, 61, passed away Thursday morning at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
