Robert L. Bowman – Bedford
March 30, 1940 – February 17, 2016
Robert L. Bowman, 75, of Bedford, died at 6:26 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born March 30, 1940 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Frank and Bessie L. (Hicks) Bowman. He married Beulah Ray on June 26, 1959 and she survives. He retired as a Facilities Director at NWSC Crane. He was a member of the Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM and was a former member of the Cedar Lodge of Leesville F & AM.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah, of Bedford; two sons, Robert Bowman and wife, Sonya, of Warrensburg, MO, Stephen Bowman of Bedford; two grandchildren, Kate Hall and husband, Joe, of Pine Bend, OR, Zachary Bowman of Warrensburg, MO; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, several aunts and uncles.
Private services are planned with Pastor Kenneth Wilson officiating. Entombment will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. till 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 21st at the Day & Carter Mortuary where Masonic services will be conducted at 5:30 p.m.
