Roy Pace – Bedford

Roy Pace, 76, of Bedford, died at 9:51 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at I.U. Health Paoli.
Born October 16, 1939 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Morrell and Ruby (Terrell) Pace. He married Mary Jane Kanis on December 27, 1958 and she preceded him in death on June 16, 2012. He graduated from the Shawswick High School. He had worked for Larry Evans Trucking and retired from the Bedford Police Department in 1988. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Survivors include three sons, Kevin Pace and wife, Wanda, of Bedford, Karl Pace of Bellefontaine, OH and Jeffrey Pace and wife, Bonnie, of Clarksville, MD; seven grandchildren, Chelsea, Chad, Lucas, Carly and Jacob Pace, Misty Daniels-Moody and Christopher Daniels; two great grandchildren, Ray Mody and Deondre Daniels; a brother, Morrell Pace, Jr.; a sister, Nancy Pace of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, Robert Pace, Everett Mack and Jack Pace; a sister, Doris Bunch.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 22nd in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Mark Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. till 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 21st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Wilma Jean Skeen, 81, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2016.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery in Orleans.
