Robert Dean Tucker – Bedford

Robert Dean Tucker, 82, of Bedford, died at 7:35 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the White River Lodge in Bedford.
Born March 17, 1934 in Bedford, he was the son of Richard and Gladys (Charles) Tucker. He married Phyllis Tirey on September 5, 1959 and she survives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Monroe Lodge #22 F&AM. He was the co-owner of Tom Taylor Foods and a member of the Free Methodist Church in Bedford.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis, of Bedford; a daughter, Pamela Dougherty and husband, Shannon, of Bedford; a brother, Morrell Tucker, of Bedford; and two grandchildren, Jessica Davis and husband, Josh, of Williams, and Lacey Dougherty and fiancé, JT Ford, of Norman; four great grandchildren, Rylan Davis, Jaedyn, Jax and Jace Ford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Charles and John David Tucker and a sister, Virginia Mulkey.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 19th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 18 th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
