Luella F. Webb – Oolitic
August 28, 1926 – September 16, 2016
Luella F. Webb, 90, of Oolitic, passed away Friday at 11:35 p.m. at White River Lodge in Bedford.
Born August 28, 1926 in Salem, IN, she was the daughter of Roy V. and Stella I. (Jackson) Walton. She married Opal Webb on May 16, 1942 and he preceded her in death on July 4, 2000. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Oolitc. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker, and had been employed by M&F Fines.
Survivors include two sons: Russell E. Webb and wife Rebecca of Bedford, Ronald G. Webb and wife Lou Ella of Oolitic; one daughter, Marsha R. Enochs and husband Rick of Oolitic, ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four brothers: Leroy (Carl) Walton, Lovell (Red) Walton, Lester (Ted) Walton, Leonard Ray (Johnny) Walton, and two sisters: Loral Walton Robbins, and Lois Chastain, one daughter in law Janie (Reynolds) Webb.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
