Dale Austin Schreiber, 92, of Bedford, died at 8:01 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Johnson Christian Village, Bedford.
Born March 8, 1924, in Bedford, he was the son of Paul and Claira (Smith) Schreiber.
He first married Joyce M. Adams, on April 14, 1946, and she is deceased. He later married Carolyn Bishop on May 18, 1991, and she died December 1, 2011. Dale was a barber and school custodian, in Bloomington, and was retired. He was a member of the Bryantsville Church of Christ and a veteran of the Army Air Corps.
Surviving are one brother, Jesse Schreiber, Louisville, KY; many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, both wives, two brothers, Ben and Burl Schreiber, and three sisters, Nellie Read, Hazel Merry, and Alene Byers.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2016, at the 39th Street Christian Church, Bedford with Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Bloomington. Friend may call from 9 a.m. until the service Monday, at the church.
