Timothy A. King – Bedford
Timothy A. King, 63, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.
He was born and raised in Bedford to Francis Tanny and Erma Jean (Richardson) King and was the oldest of three children.
Tim married the love of his life, Dietra Lynn Hardwick, on June 8th 1987. The two shared an inseparable bond of love and faith in Christ that is evident today throughout the King family.
He was an honest, hard-working man, hauling gasoline in a semi-truck for over 35 years at the Sprint Oil and Wischmeier Trucking Companies.
He was an active member of the Free Methodist Church in Bedford where he was given the opportunity to serve as a missionary in Africa from 1974 to 1976 to share Christ’s love to those in a foreign land.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Tyra Hardwick.
Surviving members of Tim’s family are his wife Dietra and mother-in-law Suzanne Hardwick. Two sisters Nina Jean McBride (John) and Pamela Kay McIntyre (Dale) both of Bedford. Two children, William Jarad King (Megan) of Springville and Whitney Dawn Dyer (Jeremy) of Fountain Inn, SC. Four grandchildren, Kaurianne Quinn King, Beckham Gray King, Emerson Dawn Dyer, and Adelyne Anne Dyer. Three nieces Jordyn McIntyre, Bailey McBride, Trinity Hardwick, and two nephews Ryan McBride and Braxtan Hardwick.
The family would like to extend its deepest gratitude to the health care professionals at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, especially the critical care unit 4-East, for the unwavering and gentle care they provided Tim.
The family is also blessed to have the congregation of the Free Methodist Church in Bedford for the outpouring of prayers, the warm hugs, and meals provided throughout the family’s journey.
Funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Free Methodist Church, Bedford, with Pastor Mike Courtney and Pastor John Lane officiating. Burial will be in Williams Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. till 8 p.m. Thursday at Free Methodist Church, Bedford.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes.

Patricia Joan Miracle – Springville
Patricia Joan Miracle, 82, Springville, formerly of Mitchell, passed away Monday, April 17, at her residence.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at the First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at a reception in the Christian Life Center following the service.
