Elizabeth Ann (Mitchell) Croy, 89, of Bloomington, died Thursday, June 8, 2017.
Born June 10, 1927, in Heltonville, IN, she was the daughter of Basil and Lula (Phillips) Mitchell.
She married Audley Croy who preceded her in death on January 15, 1995. Elizabeth attended Bedford High School, and worked for RCA, Bloomington, from where she retired. She was of the Protestant Faith having attended various churches with family and friends.
Surviving are her son, Larry (Elaine) Kern; grandchildren, Geanna (Tim) Ritchison, Bryan Kern, Jerry (Rebecca) Kern, Jody Kern, Kristie (Brian) Cauble, Scott (Amy) Huff, and Michael Huff; fourteen great-grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter Kathy Andis, and four brothers, Donald Mitchell, Morris Mitchell, Robert Dean Mitchell and Harold Mitchell.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Home, Bedford, with Pastor Phil Thorne officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral chapel.
