William “Bill” D. Stalker – Bedford

William “Bill” D. Stalker, 82, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his residence.
Born July 29, 1934, in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of Fredrick and Elsie (Smith) Stalker. He married Carolyn Fults on October 3, 1954, and she survives. Bill retired from Otis Elevator, Bloomington. He attended Faith Mission Church.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn, of Bedford; one son, Michael Wayne (Trish) Stalker, of Bloomington; one daughter, Barbara (Ron) Kerr, of Bedford; six grandchildren, William D. Stalker, and Fiancé’ Stacey Allen, Veronica Kerr, Jeremy Kerr, Travis Kerr, Sahara Stalker, and Michael Stalker; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Bonnie) Stalker; sister-in-law, Patty Stalker; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, William David Stalker; sisters, Georgie, Marti, Betty, Helen, Mary, and Dorothy; and brothers, Edward, Dale, and Don.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, with Pastor Gordon Tilley officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral chapel.
