Edward H. Baldwin – Bedford

Edward H. Baldwin, 81, of Bedford, died at 8:40 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his residence.
Born January 22, 1936 in Heltonville, he was the son of James and Hester (Murphy) Baldwin. He married Sharon Fox in 1958 and she preceded him in death on November 16, 2010. He was a pipe fitter for Triangle & Leahy and Harrell Mechanical. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, attended the Hillcrest Christian Church and was a member of the Pipefitter’s Union Local #136.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Edwards and husband, Charles, of Florida and Teresa Short and husband, Don, of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Jason, Joshua and Jacob Fish, Crystin LeFew, Brandon and Brady Short and Brandy Marsh; twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Baldwin, of Bedford and Mike Baldwin, of Jamestown, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sharon and a brother, Richard Baldwin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 30th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Mark Fugate and Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Gilgal Cemetery where military rites will be accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
