Charles R. Bridges Jr., 59, of Mitchell, passed away on Monday, May, 2018 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 8, 1959, in Lawrence County, Indiana, he was the son of Charles R. and Edna (Poll) Bridges. He worked at Indiana Steel for 38 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Stephanie P. Bridges-Rogers and Kaylee J. (James Steward) Bridges; four grandchildren, Erica Creasy, Adrian Rogers, Ellie Davis, and Zeke Steward; one great-grandson, Trenton Creasy; two brothers, Michael (Alice) Bridges and David (Lori) Bridges; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Robyn Bridges.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Chris Bridges.
Memorial visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes.
