Laura Vivian (Bryant) Phillips – Bedford

Laura Vivian (Bryant) Phillips, 97, of Bedford, passed away on June 27, 2018, at her residence.
Born November 24, 1920 in Washington County, IN, she was the daughter of John and Nora (Bryant) Albertson. She married Winfred Ralph Phillips on August 16, 1941; and he preceded her in death in 2000. Laura was a homemaker and a member of the White River Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Patricia A. (Jim) Arthur, Connie Probasco, David (Judi) Phillips; grandchildren, Kelly Arthur, Rodney (Barbie) Arthur, Dana (Rodney) Bridgeforth, Tina Roll, Regina (Rudy) Parker, Shawnna (Snapper) Baker, Adam Phillips, Evan Phillips; several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; sister, Kay Leeds; brothers, Albert “Tude” (Nancy) Albertson and Ernie Albertson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Winfred; granddaughter, Lisa Dotts; siblings, Ed Albertson, Helen Elliot, John Albertson, Dorene Story, Ada Horn and Sue Albertson.
Funeral service will be on Monday, July 2, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, with Kenny Dalton officiating. Burial will be in Tunnelton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
