Krista Dawn Fields, 44, of Seymour, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018, at her residence.
Born March 4, 1974, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Barney and Carolyn S. (Blackburn) Goins. She married John Eric Fields September 11, 2015. Her first marriage was to Charles Lee Cooper who preceded her in death September 24, 2007.
Krista was a registered nurse and had been employed at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her husband, John Eric Fields of Seymour; sons, Zachary Cooper of Mitchell; Landon Cooper of Bedford; stepdaughter, Makayla Rae Robrecht of Greenwood; parents, Barney and Carolyn Goins of Bedford; grandson, Wesley Cooper; father-in-law, Larry Fields of Bedford; brother-in-law, Stacey Fields of Bedford; sisters, Debra Goins of Bedford, Teresa Haase of Mitchell, Shannon (Jim) Roach of Mitchell; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and great nieces and nephews
Her husband, Charles Lee Cooper; grandparents, Gordon, and Alice Blackburn and Brownlow and Cora Goins; and favorite uncle, Ronnie Gene Blackburn, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Millard Jones officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Edward W. Mann – Washington
Edward W. Mann, 91, of Washington, formerly of Shoals, passed away at 11:24 a.m. on September 19, 2018 in Washington.
He was born in Martin County to Chris and Kathrine Mann. He retired from General Motors, was a member of the United Auto Workers, was a WWII Veteran, serving in the United States Army and was a member of the Shoals American Legion.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2018, at Emerald Place Senior Living in Washington. Visitation will be from 1:30PM until the time of service. Burial will be in the Goodwill Cemetery in Loogootee.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
Mary F. Salmon – Bedford

Mary F. Salmon, 86, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at White River Lodge.
Born June 14, 1932, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Raymond and Thelma (Rush) Newton.
She married Freddie T. Salmon on December 19, 1952; and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2012. Mary was a graduate of Bloomington High School. She retired from RCA and later retired from NWSC Crane. She was a member of Southland Church of Christ and the Red Hat Society. Mary loved spending time with her family and cooking.
Surviving are two sons, Dan (Mary Beth) Salmon, and Alan Salmon; two daughters, Lisa (Mark) Jenkins, and Susan (Tony) Hutton; twelve grandchildren, Sarah Beth (Mark) Brigance; Melanie (Rufus) Head, Allison Salmon, Kristen (Bobby) Lintz, Mark (Tanya) Salmon, Tara (Steve) Warren, Christopher Hutton, Jennifer (Brett) Dillman, Megan Hutton, Trent (Stephanie) Jenkins, Julie (David) Cootes, and Mark (Cindy) Bower; several great-grandchildren; one brother, George (Tina) Newton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Mark Salmon; two sisters, Virginia Wellman and Lonita Chandler; and one brother, Charles Newton.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Southland Church of Christ, with Pastor Bud Smith officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes.
