Randy Lee “Doc” Stone
March 5, 1963 – October 21, 2018
Randy Lee “Doc” Stone, 55, of Shoals, passed away at his residence early Sunday.
He was born March 5, 1963 in Daviess County to Donald J and Yvonne (Tinkle) Stone. He attended Shoals Schools.
He is survived by his mother, one daughter, Katie Stone Payne of Shoals; step-daughter, Myrissa Stone Payne of Bedford; three sisters, Evelyn Padgett of Loogootee, Mary Jo Mullins of Odon and Sonya Davis of Shoals and one brother, Bruce Stone of Shoals.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2018, at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service Monday.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
Norma Jean Hart
January 21, 1951 – October 28, 2018
Norma Jean Hart, 67, of Orleans passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018, at her residence.
Born January 21, 1951, in Clark County, she was the daughter of Loyd Verne and Elsie Hazel (Tetley) Hart.
Norma retired from Dana Corporation and was a graduate of Orleans High School Class of 1968. She enjoyed farming, gardening, and needlework.
Survivors include her brother, Walter Hart of Orleans; niece and nephews, Robert Hart, Ronald Hart, Gary Hart, Billy Hart, Colby Hart, Jeffrey Hart, Phillip Hart and Dottie Hart; several great nieces and nephews
Her parents and brothers, John Hart and James Hart, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 2, at Scottsburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

William Francis Ferrel

William Francis Ferrel, 82, of Mitchell, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born August 25, 1936, in Seymour, he was the son of Goldia (Goodpastor) Ferrel. Bill retired from Crawford-Morris Lumber Company.
Survivors include his children, Joe (Destiny) Bush of Mitchell, Steve Bush of Mitchell, Dan (Manessa) Bush of Mitchell, David (Tobi) Ferrel of Alexandria, Dana (Kent) White of Bedford, Chris (Jennifer) Bush of Mitchell; companion, Sue Elliott of Orleans; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Everett (Chris) Ferrel of Mitchell
His parents and brother, Robert Ferrel, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 3, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Steve Jones officiating. Burial will be Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Brad R. Stewart
April 29, 1961 – October 27, 2018
Brad R. Stewart, 57, of Bedford, died at 8:33 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018.
Born April 29, 1961, in Bedford, he was the son of Larry and Judith (Judah) Stewart. He retired from Crider & Crider as a heavy equipment operator after over thirty years of service. He was a member of Operators Local #841, Gulletts Creek Baptist Church, and American Legion Auxiliary. He loved music and was a great guitar player, playing in several bands. He enjoyed camping and loved his dog, Lilly.
Survivors include his mother, Judith Stewart, of Bedford; a sister, Linda Short, of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry, and a brother, Jeffrey Stewart.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 1st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Billy Brim officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Julanna Hornocker
December 3, 1956-October 28, 2018
Julanna Hornocker, 61, of Bedford died at 7:35 a.m. on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born December 3, 1956, in Bedford she was the daughter of Harold and Delores (Richards) Hornocker. Julanna attended the Bedford Sherwood Oakes Church. She retired from St. Vincent School after 20 years of teaching second grade. She had also worked at Wal-Mart for 10 years. She enjoyed reading, being a part of the “Home of the Brave” Production, sewing and crafts, and would demonstrate early sewing techniques at Spring Mill State Park.
Julanna is survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard Hornocker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Shawn Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from
11 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday.
