Andrea Rebecca Wigley, 10, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018, following an automobile accident.
Born June 24, 2008, in Bedford, she is the daughter of William Wigley III and Crystal Rebecca (Parfitt) Schofield.
Andrea was a fourth-grade student at Loogootee Elementary School. She was a very happy, strong, independent person and loved fishing and going to the park.
Survivors include her parents, Crystal Rebecca (David) Schofield of Loogootee; William (Billie Jo Gray) Wigley III of Bedford; half-brother, Preston Liam Billy Wigley of Bedford; best friend, Karma of Loogootee; grandparents, Richard Schofield, Jr., of Mitchell and Jerrie Schofield of Bedford; William and Janet Wigley II of Mitchell Dean and Aliana Parfitt of Loogootee; great-grandfather Richard Schofield, Sr. of Mitchell
Her great-grandparents, Dale and Mary Wigley, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will be in Bonds Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
John Robert Roach – Bedford
October 24, 1939 – December 10, 2018
John Robert Roach, 79, died Monday, December 10, 2018, at his home in Bedford.
Born October 24, 1939, in Bedford, he was the son of John Chester and Mary Fern (Brooking) Roach. He married Mary Ann Hawkins on February 17, 1963, and she survives. He was a graduate of the Bedford High School class of 1958.
He graduated from General Motors Institute in Flint, MI and was an engineer with General Motors for seven years. He then worked as an engineer at NWSC Crane for forty years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He loved to play golf and tennis and was an amateur ham radio operator.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann, of Bedford; two sons, John Russell Roach and wife, Tracy, of Naperville, IL and Jay Reid Roach and wife, Karen, of Fishers, IN; a daughter, Audra Reynolds and husband, Jeff, of Port Orange, FL; seven grandchildren, Whitney Reynolds, Jackson Reynolds, A.J. Reynolds, Nicholas Roach, Allison Roach, Justin Roach, and Matthew Roach; two sisters, Mary Catherine Roach Sipes, of Plainfield, IN and Linda Jo Roach Wyneken and husband, Steve, of Pryor, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Michelle White officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, friends may consider memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Assoc. or Wounded Warriors Project.
