(BEDFORD) – A Bedford man was arrested Friday morning after Bedford Police officers were called to the 1300 block of O Street for a possible intoxicated male.
According to Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore the caller stated the male was having a hard time keeping his balance while walking.
Officers located 22-year-old Michael Jones, of 7381 Leatherwood Rd., in the Walgreen parking lot.
“Mr. Jones showed all the usual signs of intoxication and was struggling to stand,” Chief Moore added. “He was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. Officers later found what tested positive for marijuana in his backpack.”
