Ruth Ellen (Wright) Stuck – Bedford

Ruth Ellen (Wright) Stuck, 94, of Bedford, formerly of Florida, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Johnson’s Christian Village.
Born February 26, 1925, in Greene County, she was the daughter of Elza L. and Mattie (Stewart) Maners. She married Dewey Vernon Wright and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1989. She later married Howard Reed and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2000.
She then married Lorin Stuck and he preceded her in death on October 13, 2012. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, David L. Wright, and wife, Sue, of Bedford; grandchildren, Donald Wright and wife, Rona, Greg Wright and wife, Kim, and Chris Wright and wife, Judi; great-grandchildren, Danielle Hitchcock, and husband, Riley, D.J. Wright, and wife, Caycee, Casey Amos and husband, Brad, and Tyler Collins, and fiancé, Kristen Wampler, Adrien Eads, and husband, Zach, Hannah Wright, Harrison Wright, Daphne Wright, Romy Wright, Theo Wright, Phoebe Wright, and Margot Wright; seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a son, Donald Wayne Wright, and a great-grandson, Cameron Wright.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 8 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Mark Hafenbreidel officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday, March 8 at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to Johnson’s Christian Village in Ruth’s memory.

Michael Shawn Henderson – Bedford
May 13, 1959 – March 4, 2019
Michael Shawn Henderson, 59, of Bedford, died at 8:45 a.m. on March 4, 2019, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born May 13, 1959, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Donald and Nancy (Payton) Henderson. He was previously employed by Stone City Products and Brunner Manufacturing. Michael was a 1977 graduate of Bedford-North Lawrence High School, a member of Restoration Church of the Nazarene, and enjoyed playing golf, softball, and coaching at Murray Park.
Surviving are his children, Misty Middleton (Damian Lamb) and Brandy Henderson (Michael Vinson); 10 grandchildren, Michael Bell (Summer Baumgart), Ethan Middleton, Devin Middleton, Alexys Nicholas, Braydon Nicholas, Caitlyn Middleton, Kynadee Nicholas, Ava Middleton, Madison Lamb, and Haydon Lamb; nephews Nicholas (Darin) Kyle and Tyler Henderson; sister in law Irene Henderson; uncles Floy Payton and Mike Henderson; aunt Carol Hutchinson; a god-son, Traeden Robinson and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Shawn Henderson; and a brother, Dennis “Tiny” Henderson.
Funeral services will be at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019, with Pastor Ken Bushey officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday at the Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Ferguson-Lee Chapel to help offset funeral expenses.

Marcia L. Brinegar – Bedford

Marcia L. Brinegar, 80, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at IU Health Hospice House, Bloomington.
Born March 31, 1938, in Greensburg, IN, she was the daughter of Connor and Stella (Sherrill) Adams. She was raised by her grandparents, George, and Mabel Sherrill.
She married George Brinegar on March 22, 1969, and he survives. She was a homemaker and also worked on the family dairy farm with George. Marcia was a member of Fairview Community Church.
Surviving are her husband, George; daughter, Christie Crider, of Morristown, IN; one son, Steve (Cyndi) Dalton, of Bedford; one step-daughter, Linda (Jim) Randolph, of Bedford; five grandchildren, Derrick, Brittany, Hannah, Danielle, and Andy; one great-grandchild, Chloe; one brother, Carl (Janet) Adams, of Bedford; daughter-in-law, Doris Dalton; sisters-in-law, Martha (Raymond) Johnson, of Bedford and Mary Lawson, of Radcliff, KY; two aunts, Roberta Sherrill and Phyllis Sherrill; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bob Dalton; and granddaughter, Ashley Dalton.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, with Pastor Lindy Hopkins, Kenny Fisher, and Leonard Neff officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral chapel.
