Nancy Ann Knight – Bedford

Nancy Ann Knight, 74, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019, at Garden Villa, Bedford. Born December 18, 1944, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Webb and Grace (McKnight) Knight. She was a graduate of Needmore High School Class of 1963. Nancy retired from Garden Villa where she worked as a CNA. She was of the Christian faith.
Surviving include her two sisters, Mary Jane (Harold) Sowders and Alice Rose Knight; nieces and nephews, Terri (Allen) Sowders Donica, Cherri Gaugler, Eddie (Becky) Barrett, Deanna (Barry) Ray, and Shannon (Alice) Barrett; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Shawn Lee; half-brother, Byron Barrett; and nephew, Byron Sowders.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2019, at Hanson Cemetery, with Rocky Donica officiating.
