Bloomfield Woman Stopped After Traveling 103 MPH On I-69

(BLOOMFIELD) – A Bloomfield woman has issued a summons to appear in court after an Indiana State Police trooper clocked her traveling 103 miles per hour on I-69.

ISP reports that 31-year-old Megan Herald is facing charges of reckless driving at an unreasonable high speed, a Class C misdemeanor.
Indiana State Police Master Trooper John Yung was on routine patrol during the late morning hours of Saturday, April 20th when he spotted Herald’s green 2002 Toyota traveling northbound at a high rate of speed.
Trooper Yung reported she was traveling in the left lane, passing other vehicles. He said he tracked the vehicle’s speed at 103 MPH.
She was pulled over and told the trooper she was not paying attention to how fast she was going.
Herald will appear in Greene Superior Court in June for an initial hearing.
