(INDIANAPOLIS) – The Indiana Builders Association (IBA) is pleased to announce the addition of Abigail Campbell as the association’s communications director.
“We are excited to welcome Abigail to IBA and help her settle into her new role,” said Rick Wajda, IBA’s Chief Executive Officer. “Abigail has great experience in both private and government communications, and her experience is a welcome addition to IBA.”
Abigail is a 2017 graduate of Indiana University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Most recently, Campbell served as a press secretary for the Indiana House Republican Caucus since 2017. During her time there, Campbell managed external press for representatives in southeastern Indiana.
“I am thankful for this opportunity to work with home builders across the state and the IBA team to advocate for safe and affordable housing for all Hoosiers,” Campbell said. “I hope to use my past experiences to continue moving IBA’s message forward and effectively serving our members.”
As communications director, Campbell will coordinate the public relations and communications programs for the association. She will also serve as the managing editor of the associations’ major news publications including Indiana Builder News, Builder Bi-Weekly, Key Points, and the Legislative and Regulatory Report. In addition, Campbell will manage IBA membership recruitment and retention, and association events.
