(BEDFORD) – Noah Walters, 77, of Bedford, passed away at 4:30am on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at his residence.
Born December 24, 1941 in Bedford, he was the son of Ralph and Maggie (Breedlove) Walters.
He married Barbara Clements and she preceded him in death.
Noah had worked for Walter Louden at TLC and also worked for Eddie Evans at Architectural Stone Sales in Bedford.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Gilbert) Kent; three step daughters, Jeanie (Greg) Kidd, Judy (Phil) Hensley and Joyce (Delbert) White; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and significant other, Carolyn Ragsdale. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Barbara; son, James; brother, Edgar Walters and sister, Barbara Blanton.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes with Pastor Jerry Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be on Thursday, from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral chapel.
