Carla Jean (Reynolds) Gurnett, 71, of Woodstock, Ill., passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019, peacefully at her home with family by her side.
Born December 13, 1947, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Carl E. and Lavon (Cooper) Reynolds, Jr. She married Dan Gurnett January 19, 1989.
Carla was a homemaker and a 1965 graduate of Mitchell High School.
Survivors include her husband, Dan Gurnett of Woodstock, Illinois; sons, William E. (Stephanie) Grissom III of Clarksville, Tennessee, Chad C. (Amber) Sheeks of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; five grandchildren; siblings, Leetta J. (Mark) Cooper of Birdseye, Gregory D. (Connie) Reynolds of Mitchell, and her faithful lapdog, Chica.
Her parents and siblings, Jackie Shelton and Kevin Reynolds, preceded her in death.
Cremation was chosen with no service.
