Sandra Sue VanMeter, 69, of Bedford, passed away Friday, August 16, at her residence.
Born August 26, 1949, in Shoals, she was the daughter of Harry William Jones and Violet Marie (Holt) Roberts. She married Charles Michael 30673 VanMeter February 21, 2004.
Sandra had been a truck driver, delivered motor homes, and lastly worked at PRD.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Michael VanMeter of Bedford; sons, Marty Johnson of Bedford; Kevin Johnson of Bedford; mother, Violet Marie Roberts of French Lick; grandchildren, Marty, David, and Tina; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Lakea, Braxton, and Hailey; siblings, Judy Wilson of Liberty, Kentucky, Ronnie Jones of French Lick, Debbie Smith of Shoals
Her father; son David Eugene Johnson; step-daughter Rosemarie VanMeter; and siblings William Jones, Kenneth Jones, Connie Duncan, and Donna Hall, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Cremation will follow.
