Amy Jane Beckett, 65, of Mitchell, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019, at her residence.
Born June 30, 1954, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Calvin and Beatrice (Case) Mundy. She married William “Herb” Beckett August 30, 1986, and he preceded her in death.
Amy was a lab technician and worked for the Purdue Diagnostic Lab. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1972.
Survivors include her children, Justin (Sara) Graves of Mitchell, J. D. (Rhi) Graves of Loogootee, Richard (Kari) Beckett of Kutztown, Pennsylvania, Nicole Beckett of Allentown, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Bre Graves, Macy Graves, Euan Graves and other loved grandchildren; siblings, Judy Asbery of Mitchell, Dave (Kay) Mundy of Mitchell.
Her parents; husband; and siblings, Joe Mundy, Linda Kay Asbery, Jerry Mundy, Violet May Mundy, and Richard Mundy, preceded her in death.
Cremation was chosen with a graveside service at 1 p.m. Friday, August 30, at Lawrenceport Cemetery.
