(RAMSEY) – Bedford North Lawrence finished 14th in the 16-team field during the North Harrison Invitational girls cross country race on Thursday afternoon.
Jasper won the meet with 47 points, followed by Northeast Dubois (68) and Corydon (115). The Stars totaled 309 points.
Grace Tanksley paced BNL (which competed without two of its top runners) with a strong performance, crossing the line in 10th place among the field of 119 runners in 22:14.9.
Lindley Steele was 31st in 23:56.0, Adalyn Banks was 83rd in 28:28.0, and Emily Bartlett was 84th in 28:28.5. Katelyn Moody was 101st in 34:06.8.
Jasper’s Andi Vanmeter was the individual champion in 19:47.0, while NED’s Jordan Schweikarth was second in 20:48.1.
BNL’s boys team will compete in the Columbus North Invitational on Saturday.
