Norma Rose Tincher, 86, of Mitchell, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Mitchell Manor.
Born May 1, 1933, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Charles A. and Nora B. (Collins) Watterson. She married Donald Gordon Tincher June 30, 1951, and he preceded her in death on June 18, 2019.
Norma was a former employee of Trav-Ler Corporation and was also a real estate agent. She graduated from Huron High School in 1951. Norma was very crafty and loved knitting.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Miranda Abel, and Darren Abel;
great-grandchildren, Braxton Johnson, Bryson Gipson, Rilynn Abel, and Colton Abel
Her parents; husband; daughter, Angela Michelle Abel; and siblings, Noble Watterson, Floyd Watterson, Lester Watterson, Isom Watterson, James Watterson, John Watterson, Adah Schmidt, Clara Bryant, Mary Ruth Atchison, Lorene Morrow, and Madge Reynolds preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Max Abel officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until the service on Wednesday at the funeral
home.
