(BEDFORD) – The Lawrence County Museum of History is sponsoring a Return to Downton Tea, at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 29th at the Downtown Depot, 1401 J St.
Tickets are being sold at the Lawrence County History Museum located at 929 15th Street and cost $30. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays.
Guests are encouraged to come in period dress from the 1930s and spend the afternoon enjoying scones, shortbread cookies, finger sandwiches, petit fours, English tea and of course, the company of other “Downton Abbey” followers.
The new “Downton Abbey” movie will be a main topic of discussion as the Crawley family, the masters of “Downton Abbey,” entertain the king and queen for a dinner at the estate. The movie is now playing across the country.
