(BEDFORD) – The Bedford Parks Department will have a men’s basketball league, consisting of a 12 game season.
Teams are placed in two divisions based on the roster submitted at the time of registration.
Games will be played at Bedford and Shawswick Middle School.
The entry fee is $150 per team and is due along with a roster by October 27th.
Games will start on November 6th.
Teams will compete for 1st and 2nd place awards that will be presented at the conclusion of the season.
The league is a non-officiated league and will be supervised by court monitors provided by the Parks Department.
Games will be scheduled on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. Players must be 15 years old. Games will follow the NLCS closings and cancellations for inclement weather.
Volleyball
It is also time to register for women’s and co-ed volleyball leagues.
Leagues will be played at Parkview Primary and Stalker gymnasiums.
The Co-ed league will be played on Monday nights and women’s teams will play on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m.
Entry fees include a 12 match season and court monitor for each match.
Entry fee is $100 and due along with a roster by 4 p.m. on October 11th. Players must be 15 years old. Games will start the week of October 21st.
