(BEDFORD) – The Lawrence County Treasurer’s office was recently recognized for their efforts as part of the Tax Refund Exchange and Compliance System (TRECS).
The TRECS program of intercepting Indiana State Tax Refunds for the payment of delinquent property taxes is administered in partnership with the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) and the National Association of Counties (NACO).
This is the county’s second year to participate. The above picture includes Lawrence County Treasurer, Paula Stewart, along with AIC and NACO officials.
