(EDINBURGH) – Simon®, a global leader in premier shopping, dining, entertainment, and mixed-use destinations, announced that effective today, Edinburgh Premium Outlets will become Indiana Premium Outlets.
The new name will further bolster the attraction’s reach, as the center continues its growth as a premier destination for visitors from across the state to shop and play.
“We know that guests from across the state are drawn to the center because of our iconic brands, significant savings, and dynamic shopping environment,” said Heather Little, General Manager for Indiana Premium Outlets.
“Our updated moniker better reflects the geographic makeup of our visitors and, combined with the current renovation, will offer shoppers a more engaging atmosphere to enjoy.”
Extensive enhancements well underway at Indiana Premium Outlets are slated for completion by Holiday 2019.
The improvement project includes a striking new archway featuring public artwork; a Food Truck Plaza with shaded seating; and a Playground Plaza with interactive equipment and shaded picnic tables. In addition, sleek digital directories will be installed on the property.
Enhancements to the Indiana Premium Outlets’ management office and the Simon Youth Academy are also now complete.
At the end of July, students returned to a new campus, now known as the Simon Youth Academy at Indiana Premium Outlets.
The updated academy, operated in partnership with Edinburgh Community School Corporation, features Simon Youth Foundation’s vibrant, student-focused color scheme and includes wireless technology in addition to an interactive Steelcase Eno Board, a high-tech version of a whiteboard.
