(BEDFORD) – Bedford North Lawrence’s Haley Deckard and Carlee Kern were named to the Honorable Mention team by the Hoosier Hills Conference coaches.
Deckard led the Stars in digs (259) and blocks (55) while also totaling 159 kills. Kern recorded a team-high 172 kills with 242 digs as BNL finished with a 4-22 mark.
The First Team was dominated by Floyd Central and New Albany selections.
Floyd’s Caroline Hilbrich (212 kills), Kayden Holcomb and Kassidy Hoback (178 digs) were named among the top players in the league, while New Albany’s Riley Winslow (304 kills), Bree Martin (426 digs) and Tess Owsley were honored.
The remainder of the squad included Columbus East’s Rilee Jessee (254 kills) and Allison Mack, Seymour’s Olivia Fish (316 kills), Jennings County’s Hanah Bertram (386 digs), Madison’s Brooklyn Cornelius (317 digs) and Jeffersonville’s Alayna Lacy (23 kills and 73 aces).
New Albany’s Ryan Woosley was named Coach of the Year.
