BEDFORD) – Looking to learn more about what your child can do in Lawrence County?
Join Lawrence County 4-H for this first-ever, Family Fun Night, where you can explore what 4-H has to offer. This event is open to all Lawrence County families with youth in grades K-12.
Family Fun Night is Thursday at the Expo Hall on the Lawrence County 4-H Fairgrounds from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Youth and families will have an opportunity to visit a variety of booths to do hands-on activities and crafts.
Those attending can also enjoy first-come, first-serve free hot dog dinner sponsored by the Lawrence County Cattlemen.
Those interested will even have the opportunity to join 4-H while visiting with us and enter for door prizes.
“4-H is about far more than youth that live on farms. We have something for everyone. Our goal is to prepare young people to be successful no matter what their future holds,” says Lesley Lodmell, 4-H Youth Development Educator with Purdue Extension- Lawrence County.
Everyone is encouraged to drop by and explore what 4-H has to offer.

4-H Enrollment
In 4-H, you can make friends, have fun, and try new things with the help of caring adults. Whatever your interests or time available, there is a 4-H experience for you. 4-H is the largest youth organization in the nation, and there is a place for you with many different clubs, trips, scholarships, and other opportunities available.
Enrollment is now open and easy with the 4HOnline system, https://in.4honline.com. You can also stop by the Extension Office with questions or for assistance.
The $20 fee per child includes all Indiana 4-H program fees for members in grades 3-12. For Mini 4-H members (grades k-2) the fee is $5.
These fees include as many clubs and/or projects you would like.
