(BEDFORD) – Five men were arrested early this morning after Bedford Police officers received a tip of possible drug activity at an apartment in the 500 block of 15th Street.
Officers obtained a search warrant for the apartment and were looking for 45-year-old Christopher Wright.
When police knocked on the door, 28-year-old Dillon Pemberton answered and told police that he lived in the apartment.
During their investigation, police found four other males inside the residence. The men included Christopher Wright, 40-year-old James Langley, 47-year-old Dennis Ryan, and 48-year-old Donald Harrison.
“All four were wanted on active warrants,” says Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore. “Officers noticed a syringe in plain view and placed handcuffs on Pemberton who began to actively resist.”
In the apartment, officers found meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and legend drugs.
Police arrested:
Dillon Pemberton, 28, 1806 30th St., two counts of resisting
arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of meth, unlawful possession of
a syringe, possession of marijuana, possession of a legend drug,
possession of drug paraphernalia.
James Langley, 40, 326 The Woods, possession of meth,
possession of marijuana, possession of a legend drug, unlawful
possession of a syringe and wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke.
Christoper Wright, 45, 511 15th St., possession of meth,
unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana, possession
of drug paraphernalia, and on a warrant for petition to revoke.
Dennis Ryan, 47, Oolitic, possession of meth, unlawful
possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana, possession of drug
paraphernalia, possession of a legend drug, wanted on two warrants for
petition to revoke.
Donald Harrison, 48, 708 15th St., possession of meth,
unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana, possession
of a legend drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and wanted on two
warrants for failure to appear.
