(BLOOMINGTON) – Bloomington Transit will be reducing its level of service during Indiana University’s winter break.
The following schedule changes will be in effect from Sunday through Jan. 11th:
- Route 6 Campus Shuttle will operate on the semester break schedule.
- The Route 6 Limited will not operate.
- Route 7 Henderson/Walnut Express will not operate.
- 9 Route will operate on the semester break schedule.
- 9 Limited will not operate.
There will be no fixed route or BTaccess service in observance of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, all routes will end service early:
- BTaccess service will end at 7:30 p.m.
- Route 1 North ends at Bloomington High School North at 6:35 p.m.
- Route 1 South ends at College Square Apartments at 6:30 p.m.
- Route 2 West leaves Transit Center at 6:10 p.m. serving the west side and then ending at the Transit Center.
- Route 2 South leaves Transit Center at 6:40 p.m., ending at Country View at 6:51 p.m.
- Route 3 West leaves Transit Center at 6:10 p.m. serving the west side, then ending at the Transit Center at 7:01 p.m.
- Route 3 East leaves Transit Center at 6:30 p.m. serving east side, then ending at the Transit Center at 7:01 p.m.
- Route 4 West leaves Transit Center at 6:10 p.m. serving Heatherwood and Walmart and ending at Oakdale Square at 6:50 p.m.
- Route 4 South ends at Sherwood Oaks at 6:35 p.m.
- Route 5 ends at Jackson Creek Middle School at 7 p.m.
- Route 6 Westbound ends at The Arch at 6:50 p.m. Eastbound ends at Knightridge Apartments at 7:30 p.m.
- Route 8 ends at Jackson Creek Middle School as usual at 7:08 p.m.
- Route 9 ends at Covenanter Drive and Clarizz Boulevard at 7:30 p.m.
