(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue issued the following statement after Senator Kelly Loeffler (GA) was sworn in to the U.S. Senate and named to the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry:
“I want to congratulate Senator Loeffler on her swearing in yesterday and for her appointment to the Senate Agriculture Committee. As the daughter of an active farming family, Kelly understands the needs of the agriculture community and will be able to bring this knowledge and experience to her work in the Senate.
