Bradley Ray Crane, 62, of Bedford, passed away at 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born May 31, 1957, in Bedford, he was the son of Doyle Eugene and Mary Sue (Mundy) Crane. He retired from Visteon and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was an avid fisherman and member of the Bedford Boat & Sportsman’s
Club. He loved his friends and family.
Survivors include his companion, Kathy Scott, of Bedford; his mother, Mary Sue Crane, of Bedford; two brothers, Thomas Joe Crane, and wife, Elizabeth, and their daughter, Noelle Elizabeth Crane and Karl Gene Crane, all of Bedford; a sister, Karen Sue Adams, and husband, Jeff, of Columbus and their children, Michael Tyler Crane, Stephen Jacob Dragon, Maximillian Charles Dragon, and Samuel Harrison Dragon; a step-daughter, Megan Wright, and husband, Brian; three grandchildren, Tyler Green, and wife, Jennifer, James Lee Wright, and Leigha Grace Wright; a great-grandchild, Austin Levi Green; he is also survived by Jared.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 18th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Lyndy Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery where military rites will be accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, January 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
