Julie Nicole (Bartlett) Taylor, 48, passed away tragically Friday, January 17, 2020, at her home in Rock Hill, SC, following a senseless act of domestic
violence.
Julie was a devoted mother to her 12-year-old daughter and a beloved nurse for more than 20 years.
Julie was born in Bedford, IN on September 27, 1971, to Robert E. Bartlett and Patty (Yeary) Bartlett.
She is survived by the light of her world, her daughter, Emma Kate Taylor, and her beloved pet, Ginger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bartlett.
She is survived by her mother, Patty Bartlett. Also surviving are her siblings, Nancy (Larry) Limp, Thomas Bartlett, and Susan (Tim) Bowman; nephews, Cory (Tiffany) Bartlett, Nathan (Kelsey) Fields, Michael and William Bowman and John (Brittney) Limp; along with two great-nephews, Knox Fields and Cole Bartlett and three great-nieces, Emlyn, Ellison, and Ensley Limp.
Julie graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School in 1990 and graduated from Ball State University in 1995. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Sigma Kappa sorority. She had a BS degree in Biology and was a Registered Nurse at Piedmont Medical Center in the cardiopulmonary unit in Rock Hill, SC. Julie has many friends and co-workers that love and cherish her from all the places she has been in her life. She will be missed dearly by all who encountered her infectious smile.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28th at the First Baptist Church in Bedford with Pastor Lee Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, January 27th at the First Baptist Church.
