(INDIANAPOLIS) – The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration today announced that Alicia Isaacs, MSW, LCSW, of Osgood, Ind., has been named the superintendent of Madison State Hospital. Previously, Isaacs served the Madison State Hospital as the director of the social services department, the co-occurring disorder program and of admissions and discharges.
“Madison State Hospital has a long, proud history as a pillar of the community providing high-quality care to vulnerable Hoosiers,” said Jay Chaudhary, J.D., director of FSSA’s Division of Mental Health and Addiction. “We are thrilled that Alicia has agreed to take the reins and lead Madison State Hospital into the future.”
Isaacs has had several years of community experience in social work and therapist roles for several community mental health centers. Isaacs is a licensed clinical social worker and received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in sociology from Purdue University and a master’s in social work from Indiana University.
