(BEDFORD) – Five adults and 8 juveniles were detained after Bedford Police officers were called to the 2300 block of 33rd Street for a noise complaint.
When police arrived they could hear loud music playing and found two males that appeared to be under the age of 21 walking away from a basement door.
“Officers also noticed that the basement door was open and several people who appeared to be underage were playing beer pong and there were several beer cans on the floor,” said Chief Terry Moore. “All tested positive for consuming alcoholic beverages.”
Five were arrested on charges of illegal consumption and minor in possession of an alcoholic beverage. Eight teens, between the ages of 14 to 17, were released to their parents after signing a promise to appear in court on charges of illegal consumption and minor in possession of an alcoholic beverage.
