(BEDFORD) – Lawrence County Circuit Court Judge Nathan G. Nikirk has confirmed that all Lawrence County courts are experiencing computer issues and telephone lines for all courts and are currently not working after a cyberattack.
However, Judge Nikirk has confirmed that all courts are planning to be open on Monday, February 10, 2020. Further, all parties involved in a scheduled court hearing should appear for their court date unless you are specifically informed by your attorney or the Court that your hearing has been rescheduled.
In addition, all individuals ordered to do so should continue to report for all scheduled appointments with the Lawrence County Probation Department and Lawrence County Community Corrections Department.
If the Courts determine it is not possible to conduct hearings on Monday, February 10th an updated press release will be issued.
