(BLOOMINGTON) – The Monroe Fire Protection District responded to a vacant house fire at 5:01 a.m. Saturday morning at 160 East Rhorer Road on Bloomington’s southside.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find heavy smoke and fire at the rear of the residence. They were able to quickly get the blaze put out with a defensive attack.
Van Buren Fire Department, IU Health Ambulance Service, and the Monroe County Sheriff also responded to the blaze. There were no injuries reported.
