(LINTON) – The Linton Police Departments received multiple reports of a possible gas leak in the northeast portion of the city.
The police department was able to locate the gas leak at the old Roosevelt Mission at 89 East Vincennes Street, where a portion of brick broke off from the building and caused the gas leak.
Linton Police, Linton Fire, and Linton Utilities responded to the scene just before 7 a.m. this morning.
There were no injuries and the area around the Mission will be closed off to evaluate the structure.
